Ann Arbor — An array of Michigan hockey’s great netminders adorn the mask of the Wolverines’ freshman goaltender Jack Ivankovic. There’s Steve Shields, who set program records in the early 1990s, only to be outdone by his successor Marty Turco, the two-time national champion who’s also on Ivankovic’s mask. Behind Turco came Al Montoya, the sixth overall NHL draft pick in 2004, World Junior gold medalist and All-American.
