Kings – Adrian Kempe: Kempe led the Kings in scoring against Anaheim last season, as he totaled five points (2-3-5) from four regular-season games played versus the Ducks. Over the last five seasons, no player in the NHL has scored more goals against Anaheim than Kempe, who has found the back of the net 16 times in that span, with his 32 points also leading all skaters in that time.
Ducks – Jackson LaCombe: Defenseman Jackson LaCombe signed the most expensive contract in Anaheim Ducks franchise history this week, as he inked an eight-year extension with the Ducks. LaCombe had a breakout season in 2024-25, as he led all Anaheim blueliners in goals (14) and points (43). LaCombe’s 14 goals were tied for 11th in the NHL last season among all defensemen.
