Wild’s opening night roster all but set after three players cut Sunday – The New York Times

ST PAUL, Minn. — With the Minnesota Wild’s opening roster set to be submitted to the NHL on Monday, young forwards Danila Yurov and Liam Ohgren and young defensemen Zeev Buium and David Jiricek appear to have made the team out of training camp.
The Wild placed forward Tyler Pitlick and goalie Cal Petersen on waivers Sunday. That means Vinnie Hinostroza will be kept as the Wild’s 13th forward because he would have had to be placed on waivers Sunday to clear before opening rosters can be submitted to the league Monday.

This is barring any further changes on Monday, such as trades or waiver claims.
The Wild will also start Hunter Haight in Iowa. Haight had a terrific training camp and arguably outperformed Ohgren, but the Wild will give Ohgren a little more time to prove himself.
The roster is technically at 27 players — four more than the maximum allowed — but minor leaguers Michael Milne, Stevie Leskovar and Cameron Butler will start on season-opening injured reserve and veteran Mats Zuccarello (surgery for a lower body injury last month) will start on IR. The Wild still have to decide if Jonas Brodin will start the season on IR, but if not, they have room to initially carry eight defensemen after claiming Daemon Hunt off waivers from Columbus on Friday.
Hunt cannot be sent to the minors without being re-exposed on waivers, a move that could allow the Blue Jackets to reclaim him and send him directly to the AHL if no other NHL team puts in a claim.
The Wild could potentially have nine players under the age of 25 on the opening night roster.
