The 2025-26 college hockey season is here and Boston University has vengeance on its mind.
The Terriers lost in the 2025 national championship game to Western Michigan, extending their title drought to 16 years. They last won it all in 2009 and have lost in the championship game twice since then.

BU begins its season Saturday with a game against Long Island University at home. The opener leads off a six-game home stand for the Terriers.
This will also be LIU’s first game of the season, and it’ll be one of the most difficult games of the season: BU opens the season as the No. 2 ranked team in the country.
