Dallas Cowboys first round pick Tyler Booker enjoyed an NHL playoff hockey game in style Sunday.
Booker, a New Haven native who was drafted 12th in the first round by the Cowboys out of the University of Alabama, had seats behind the glass during Game 3 of the Dallas Stars' second-round series against the Winnipeg Jets. Booker was seen waving a rally towel and high-fiving fans during the game. Enthusiasm comes easily to Booker, who waved his towel and gestured to the fans to increase their noise level in a video posted on X by the Dallas Stars.

"Going where I have gone and being where I have been, I have seen it is all possible, and I want to be that person who shows it to the next generation," Booker said when talking about giving back to the community through camps.

Booker's first official day as a Dallas Cowboy was April 27, and it was chronicled by the team in a video on X. When asked to take a photo with staff who were producing his Cowboy jerseys, Booker, decked out in a suit, white dress shirt and black tie, asked: "Can we get one with everybody?" He then thanked them all for what they were doing.

When he saw the Ford Center, the world corporate headquarters of the Cowboys, Booker looked at the giant banner welcoming him to the team, he said with a smile: "That's insane."
"There's a legacy, a standard that's been upheld here for years, and I'm looking forward to continue furthering that," Booker said during his introductory press conference.
