The Devils-Hurricanes Stanley Cup Playoffs series shifts to the Prudential Center as New Jersey seeks their first win.

Although it was a more valiant effort in Game 2 as opposed to Game 1, the New Jersey Devils return to Newark in an 0-2 hole against the Carolina Hurricanes in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The series shifts from the Lenovo Center to the Prudential Center for the next two games.
Following Tuesday’s matchup, the Devils feel they matched up so well in Game 2 with Carolina that home ice should give them the advantage they need to get back in the win column.
They’ll seemingly have to continue to do that without key pieces in Luke Hughes and Brenden Dillon, who did not practice on Thursday, and are not projected to play in Game 3.
However, the Devils could very well be getting back Jonas Siegenthaler after he was a full participant in practice on Thursday. We’ll see what Friday brings.
