Denver dominated Providence hockey, winning 5-1 in the 2025 NCAA Hockey Tournament during the Manchester Regional at SNHU Arena in Manchester, N.H.
The Pioneers started the game hot, scoring within the first five minutes, giving them a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period.
Later in the second period, the defending champions scored two goals, including one from Hobey Baker’s top-ten finalist, Zeev Buium, to give them a 2-0 lead.
Providence finally scored its first goal with eight minutes remaining in the game. However, the Pioneers would score two more goals, which essentially sealed the deal.
