The Arizona State hockey team is headed to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference playoffs and will be playing Minnesota Duluth in a best-of-three series.
In the first year in the conference, ASU earned the No. 2 seed and will host the quarterfinals, which will begin on Friday, March 14, at Mullett Arena.
The Sun Devils are 19-13-2 on the season and 14-9-1 in conference play. The Bulldogs are 13-18-3 and 9-13-2 in conference play.
ASU swept UMD in Mullett Arena earlier this season, including a 5-3 win and a 3-2 overtime win. In the last meeting, ASU dropped the first game in overtime, but collected a shootout win in the finale.

The games will be streamed exclusively on NCHC.tv.
The game can be heard on the radio on FOX SPORTS 910 AM in the Phoenix area (ASU broadcast).
Tickets for the first two games are sold on Ticketmaster, while tickets for Sunday’s game have not been released. Only resale tickets are available with the lowest get-in price at $80.
