CLEVELAND, Ohio – The grand finale has arrived for St. Ignatius and Upper Arlington as they battle for the OHSAA ice hockey state championship today – Sunday, March 9. Catch the action with a live stream on the NFHS Network.
The Wildcats will face the Bears at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, with the puck dropping at 1 p.m.

St. Ignatius
The Wildcats will play for their ninth ice hockey state championship after defeating Toldeo St. Francis de Sales, 3-2, in overtime in the state semifinals. Nolan Ignacio pierced the net with the game-winning goal. The win marked the fifth straight matchup in the final four where the Wildcats have ousted the Knights.
The Knights defeated St. Ignatius in overtime during the regular season.
Upper Arlington
The Bears fell behind a pair of early goals before storming back with seven unanswered to bury the Mentor Cardinals, 7-2, in the state semifinals. Upper Arlington flipped the script with four goals in five minutes of the first period. The Bears finished with 51 shots on goal, while the Cardinals managed 17.
