SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior women’s hockey team extended their season on Tuesday night, defeating Northland College 9 to 0 in the first round of the WIAC playoffs.
UWS was led by Kailey Swerhun, who had three goals in the victory.
The Yellowjackets will next play at UW-River Falls on Friday in the semifinals.
As for Northland College, they wrap up their final year as a program with a 0-22 record.
