Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars series odds
The Edmonton Oilers almost blew yet another three-goal lead in Game 7 against the Canucks, but in the words of Elton John, they’re still standing. That may not be the case for much longer as the Dallas Stars possess one of the deepest lineups in hockey and have a brick wall in net they’ve named Jake Oettinger.
The Stars have too much depth for the Oilers to handle, and the battle in net isn’t even close. The Canadian Cup drought will continue and Dallas will make their second final in five years.

Florida Panthers vs New York Rangers series odds
The Florida Panthers dismantled both the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins to get here, and they’re favored over the New York Rangers despite no home-ice advantage. The play of Igor Shesterkin cannot go unmentioned and it may turn some people off of betting the Cats, but they just took down both Andrei Vasilevskiy and Jeremy Swayman to get here.
Now I’m not going to sit here and pretend Shesterkin isn’t better than both of those netminders, but Florida is plenty capable of winning low-scoring, tight games, and I think their scoring depth and PK will help them win enough to make it to their second-straight Cup Final.

As much as I do love the Oilers, I can’t see a world where they get through the West. I think teams like Dallas and Vegas are more prepared for a deep playoff run, and I see the Canadian drought continuing.
