The 2026 Olympic Winter Games are through the first weekend and into week two as the preliminary round of the women’s hockey tournament wraps up.
Starting Friday, every game is an elimination game as the gauntlet for Olympic gold shifts into yet another gear.
Before we get there, though—the two teams favored to earn a medal coming into the tournament, USA and Canada, face off on Tuesday in round robin play with a 2:10 p.m. ET puck drop.

The 2026 AHL All-Star Classic presented by BMO will be held on February 10-11 in Rockford, Ill. at the home of the Chicago Blackhawks American Hockey League affiliate Rockford IceHogs.
