That’s a wrap on the group stage of the 2026 Winter Olympics as the top four teams move on automatically to the next round and eight teams are left to battle it out to begin single-elimination play.
Team USA, Canada, Slovakia, and Finland all made it to the quarterfinals. USA and Canada both earned three wins.
Slovakia, Sweden, and Finland all took two wins in Group B, but Sweden needed to defeat Slovakia by another goal to earn the bye.
Qualification playoffs begin on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and continue into the quarterfinals on Wednesday before a break on Thursday. By the end of next weekend, a team will be awarded with Olympic gold medals and victory over one of the all-time greatest hockey tournaments.
Here’s the schedule for Winter Olympics men’s hockey.

Wednesday, Feb. 18 — Quarterfinals
Friday, Feb. 20 — Semifinals
Saturday, Feb. 21
Sunday, Feb. 22
