Another fall sports season is underway for area high school athletes.
The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers pulled off a dramatic first-round victory in Division II before being eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual state runner-up U-32. North Country was edged in the D-III quarterfinal round while Lyndon (Vermont, D-III) and Littleton (New Hampshire, D-III) failed to qualify for playoffs last fall.
